After first introducing you to the sounds of Nick Nikon back in late September, now the Toronto singer-songwriter/producer is finally back to deliver a short compilation in honor of the recent Halloween holiday. You know, covering other individuals? Nikon has chosen to release three intriguing covers, as we see the rising talent reworking Ja Rule‘s “Put It On Me,” Kendrick Lamar‘s “B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe,” and Justin Timberlake‘s “Cry Me A River.” Each classic entry notes revamped production from Nick himself (as “Put It On Me” also features instrumental assistance from Eric Dingus), and the vocals, yeah they’re all Nikon as well. Our personal favorite here is the Canadian artist’s take on K Dot’s heralded track, but all of these are quite good, regardless. We suggest streaming them all underneath. Which is your favorite?
