Pusha T Says Kanye West & Pharrell Want to Produce the Next Clipse Album

With his much-anticipated My Name Is My Name album now in stores, Pusha T recently visited Peter Rosenberg & Cipha Sounds for the Juan Epstein podcast to of course speak on the project. As expected, the majority of the talk surrounded the recent release, as Push himself early on disclosed that he believes MNIMN is the album of the year. And after speaking on the work and the coinciding composition and its features, the topic then transitioned to Clipse. While we can thankfully expect a new album in the future, we can also (possibly) look forward to Kanye West and Pharrell producing the entire LP. No, really — the man himself, Pushaton, said, “I don’t even wanna bring this conversation up any further than this statement, but they both are like, ‘Yo, we just need to do the whole Clipse album. Both of us. And that’s it.’” Both producers/rappers have an extensive history with Push, especially P going back to his days spent working with both he and No Malice. Will this actually come to fruition? Only time will tell. But how awesome would that be? Nonetheless, to check out Pusha T’s full sit-down with Rosenberg and Cipha, simply press play below.
