David Neville and Marcus Wainwright of Rag & Bone are in Tokyo this week to christen the launch of its latest pop-up shop at ISETAN’s Shinjuku flagship location and here we present some images of its opening. As a nod to Willy Wonka, the American fashion label linked with Mast Brothers to supply its patrons with various chocolate bars, 50 of which hold a golden ticket inside that’ll earn its purchaser one of five handbags or 45 Smythson notebooks. In addition to carrying a selection of its own best-selling items as well as several collaborations, the week-long pop-up will house everything from Kings County Distillery’s beloved whisky to Hunter’s iconic rain boots. In discussing the concept behind the shop, Neville stated their goal “was to try and show Isetan customers what Rag & Bone stands for,” be it their English heritage or their current ties to New York.
