For Fall/Winter 2012, Converse Japan looked to the great outdoors as the basis for its Chuck Taylor All-Star “Mountain Parka” iteration, a rugged take on the footwear classic. Available in black, green and red, the sneaker is characterized most notably by a heel lace detail reminiscent of parka hood drawstrings. Nylon upper construction and a leather logo patch round out the jacket-inspired Chucks, ideal for both rustic and urban pursuits. Part of the “Ready for Winter?” collection, the Converse Japan Chuck Taylor All Star “Mountain Parka” will be available in October at Converse Japan accounts.
