'Why Design' is Herman Miller's New Series Exploring the Importance of Design

Graphic and architectural design aficionados take note, world renowned design firm Herman Miller is introducing a new video series called Why Design. In the series’ first installment, we’re introduced to Yves Behar, founder of fuseproject — the San Francisco-based branding and design agency responsible for a number of major, human-centric projects including the world’s first $100 XO Laptop for the One Laptop Per Child organization, a recycling program with Coca-Cola, along with several collaborative furniture projects with Miller himself. In the video, Behar describes finding inspiration in the Bay Area, while comparing aspects of design to surfing and improvisational jazz. The video also includes a trailer for the full Why Design series, giving you a taste of what’s to come.
