visvim Cultivated Archetypes Demonstration @ F.I.L. SENDAI

Hiroki Nakamura‘s well-known affinity for authenticity is apparent in his enthusiasm for a wide range of traditional products and processes, from moccasins to tepee-making, and his multi-disciplinary approach and creative idea-sharing continues with the upcoming Cultivated Archetypes Demonstration at F.I.L. Sendai. A workshop based on the ancient art of indigo-dyeing, the demonstration will feature classes led by skilled craftsmen, after which participants will be able to dye their own T-shirts and bandanas under their guidance. This rare opportunity to share in the tradition of natural indigo dyeing will take place on September 8 and 9 at the F.I.L. Sendai location.
