At the time it was announced, nothing could have seemed more of an opposite of the standard A Bathing Ape line than a range of suits. But it worked, and it worked well. With design assistance from Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi, director over at United Arrows & Sons, this season presents another collection of tailored two-piece and three-piece suits, blazers, shirts and accessories. Several BAPE trademarks continue to filter through, with bow ties crafted in the BAPE ABC Camo colors appearing alongside BAPE Check ties and umbrellas. Becoming more and more synonymous with the brand each season, the Mr. Bathing Ape Mustache logo can be found this time in stitched form on the shirt pockets and waistcoats. The Mr. Bathing Ape 2012 fall/winter collection is available now at select stockists worldwide.
