The culmination of an almost month-long event, the NIKEiD Royale 32 began its final leg as the last two customizing combatants met at the Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer Street store in New York. While previous custom jobs were based on a more generic, computer-based platform, the final event featured the more comprehensive Bespoke service. The two final participants in Tavoh (West Coast) and Grindhouse (East Coast) each had to come up with a colorway of a Bepsoke AF1 that was inspired by their favorite baseball team or local baseball team. Overall, the event was a celebration of the return of baseball for this year with traditional baseball fare filling the store such as hot dogs, beer, popcorn, peanuts and music.
