However, the Canadian singer-songwriter’s catalog is deep with light hearted songs as well as emotional and affecting ballads. Feist’s latest single “The Water” from her universally acclaimed 2007 album The Reminder finally gets a visual treatment. However, It would be a complete disservice to label the fifteen minute clip a music video. Feist enlists professional actor Cillian Murphy to star and Broken Social Scene leader Kevin Drew to direct a haunting, somber, moving fifteen minute short film that perfectly accompanies Feist’s song.
