Sure to be one of Ford’s crowning achievements in 2017, the soon-to-be-released F-150 Raptor has been updated to accommodate even more people and to tackle even tougher terrain. Retaining its reputation as one of the world’s most capable off-road commercial vehicles, the 2017 F-150 Raptor boasts a twin-turbo, inter-cooled 3.5 liter EcoBoost engine, which exceeds the prior model’s 6.2 liter V8 while remaining 500 pounds lighter thanks to a “high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy” body. Amongst such features, Ford’s latest addition includes a boxed steel frame, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and 17-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires designed specifically for Raptor.
