With this past Wednesday marking the 27th anniversary of the original Air Max sneaker hitting retail, Nike brought its #AirMaxDay campaign to all of its major social media outlets. We even joined in on the Instagram fun. What’s more is that Nike also opened a special pop-up shop in Shanghai with an exterior designed to resemble its sneaker box of yesteryear. Although it was more of an exhibit showcasing rare Air Max models from the past three decades, the Beaverton brand did giveaway a special edition pair of Air Max 1s customized by SBTG to the first few attendees.
