A familiar selection of names, from BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS to SASQUATCHfabrix, are the subject of a somewhat surprising new project from adidas Originals: the “Enjin” T-shirt collection. Further cementing the brand as one of fashion’s stalwarts in 2014, the Enjin collection taps 10 of Japan’s most prolific designers, lending each a customized shirt. The shirts themselves draw styles from soccer jerseys – a reference to the 2014 World Cup kicking off this summer – with each designer reworking adidas’s hallmark three stripes as they see fit. Launching on May 21, the shirts are to be sold exclusively at ISETAN Shinjuku, with prices starting around $77 USD.
