Air Jordan 12 Retro Confirmed for 2012

It looks like 2012 will be the official year of the Air Jordan 12 as three classic colorways are now confirmed, including the CDP’ed Taxi XII, Playoff XII and never retroed (aside from the low top) Obsidian XII. Retail has been set at $160 USD, with the “Playoffs” dropping in April 2012 and “Obsidian” in June 2012. Stay tuned for more concrete details in the coming months, including official shots of all three retros.

    A collector doesn’t care because a proper collection is always of “value”. A re-seller hates because he’s out purely for profit. Collectors love retro drops because it allows us to fill holes in a collection that we plan to keep. Re-sellers are the only people in this game who cop kicks with the purpose NOT owning or keeping them. What the hell is that?

    I for one appreciate being able to cop what i missed for regular price & taking the wind out of the sails of the vampires. ;-)

    I doubt you want to see kids nowadays wearing hideous team jordans though. Alot of the kids that actually appreciate these releases but don’t have the money to drop money on OG’s should be allowed to get their shot.

    I hate it, but I guess it’s good for the youth to get a crack at shoes they weren’t even alive for nor have the money to buy the originals. So it’s bittersweet.
