Every four years, the best athletes in the world congregate at the Olympic Games to put their lifetime worth of practice to the ultimate test..

The Olympics is also a time when the biggest brands in the world compete to present their most innovative creations in their arsenals. With Paris 2024 around the corner, Nike has continued to set the pace with its all-new ‘Blueprint Pack’: the Swoosh’s most future-facing offering to date.

Consisting of 13 products — spanning spikes, basketball shoes, a football boot and a lifestyle shoe — the new Nike collection is a nod to company cofounder Bill Bowerman and his obsession with enabling the best possible athlete performance. Vast research has gone into the collection, with advanced capabilities and a bold innovation agenda used to allow the Swoosh to evolve its shoe Alphafly line to the Alphafly 3 — a shoe to serve all marathon runners.

Nike has optimized its proprietary Air technology, one of its key super-shoe components, to bring outsized performance results to athletes on the track, court and pitch. Nike’s digital capabilities and cutting-edge technology have also brought a new cycle of Air innovation to life that drives better, faster, and more efficient solutions for athletes, while also opening up a world of creative possibilities — including Nike’s first sculpted, visible Air Zoom unit in a running silhouette, found in the Pegasus Premium.

The dynamic Nike Air unit, which comes in a melange of different shapes, sizes and pressures, is at the center of the brand’s work for this Olympic Games. While breaking the sub-two-hour marathon is a main priority for Nike, the latest Air unit is introduced to tackle every distance, with fresh applications used to close the gap between sports science and design.

A key highlight in the new collection comes in the form of the Nike Air Pegasus Premium. The silhouette is contoured to the natural profile of the foot, while the sculpted Air Zoom unit carries the runner’s power through their transition from heel to toe. Much welcomed by runners of all standards, the result of the new Air unit is a springy and smooth sensation. The midsole assists in this, too, with the ZoomX foam complementing the heel’s ReactX foam.

Creating a secure fit over the footbed, the Air Pegasus’ upper is also engineered with a circular knit. This works with the same dynamic midfoot system used previously in the Pegasus line, while the new-and-improved upper is reinforced in specific areas on the lateral and medial forefoot to provide enhanced support during a run.

You can check out an exclusive close-up look the ‘Blueprint Pack’ above, with the Nike Victory 2 and Nike Maxfly 2 spikes available via the official Nike website in May. The G.T. Hustle 3 and Air Zoom Mercurial will be released in July, while the Pegasus 41 will arrive in June, and the Pegasus Premium will drop during Spring 2025.
