Aimé Leon Dore is fast becoming a fashion industry darling, carried and admired by both luxury retailers and small specialty boutiques alike. Heading it all is Teddy Santis whose personal aesthetic can be defined as “street vintage". ALD is continuously inspired by classic cars, ‘90s hip-hop, golden era sportswear and retro architecture. 2019 was monumental for Santis as he saw Aimé Leon Dore’s New York flagship store finally come to life with the addition of Café Leon Dore also opening up within its walls. If that wasn’t enough, Santis also executed two of this year’s best collaborative shoes alongside New Balance. It was a busy year for Aimé Leon Dore but Santis’s hustle and drive has truly paid off.
