Teddy Santis is the founder of the much-praised New York streetwear label Aimé Leon Dore. The line’s inspiration comes from the designer’s upbringing in Queens — barbershop conversations, Hip-Hop music and early ’90s movies are just some of the references that inform ALD’s street smart approach to fashion. In 2018, Santis debuted a collab with Suicoke, established the Café Leon Dore concept at HYPEFEST and grew its healthy list of stockists. Rapper Kanye West was even seen on an IG video buying up a whole rack of ALD clothing at a San Fransisco clothing boutique.
