Grand Seiko has unveiled the Heritage Collection Limited Edition SBGA529, a serene new Spring Drive creation crafted exclusively for Reeds Jewelers.
Drawing its artistic inspiration from the picturesque village of Achi in Nagano Prefecture – known affectionately as Hanamomo no Sato or “Peach Blossom Village” – the watch captures the ephemeral beauty of spring along the Achi River. The region is home to the master artisans of the Shinshu Watch Studio in Shiojiri, who translated the soft blush of morning peach blossoms into a delicately textured, pale pink dial that subtly shifts as it catches the light.
The watch features a 40mm High‑Intensity Titanium case modeled after the original 62GS design from 1967, with a bezel‑free construction and box‑shaped sapphire crystal. Its dial carries a soft peach‑pink tone, evoking the delicate blush of blossoms at first light, complemented by polished dauphine hands, crisp hour markers and a discreet power reserve indicator. Zaratsu polishing creates distortion‑free mirror surfaces that contrast with brushed planes, allowing light and shadow to play across the case.
Visible through the open sapphire caseback is the automatic Spring Drive Caliber 9R65, which delivers a 72-hour power reserve alongside an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. Limited to just 30 pieces, the SBGA529 will be available starting August 2026 for $7,600 USD, sold exclusively through the Grand Seiko Boutique Lenox Square in Atlanta, operated by Reeds Jewelers.
