Vacheron Constantin has officially opened its new heritage exhibition titled Explore All Ways Possible in London. Running from July 20 to August 1, 2026, the temporary retrospective pays tribute to the global openness, artistic curiosity and cultural discovery that have driven the Swiss luxury watchmaker since its foundation in 1755. Heavily influenced by the early 19th-century trade voyages initiated by François Constantin, the exhibition maps out the brand’s history across geographical, cultural and technical frontiers, demonstrating how encounters with different territories have continuously pushed the boundaries of the decorative arts.

The exhibition is structured around three themes: geographical exploration, with pieces like the robust Overseas models and Art Deco watches influenced by Far Eastern motifs; cultural exploration, featuring Métiers d’Art creations inspired by Japanese lacquerware and haute couture; and technical exploration, with innovations ranging from shuttered travel watches to the precision‑focused Chronomètre Royal. Together, these watches illustrate how encounters with diverse cultures and technical challenges have shaped the Maison’s aesthetic and horological mastery.

Highlights include the robust 1907 Chronomètre Royal, an ultra-thin skeleton pocket watch from 1978 with a mother-of-pearl dial, the American 1921 – a cushion‑shaped wristwatch emblematic of the Roaring Twenties – as well as unusual 1930s “Jalousie” wristwatch models featuring mechanical shutters designed to protect the crystal during travel.
