Aniplex has officially unveiled the a new teaser video for the second cours of Daemons of the Shadow Realm (known as Yomi no Tsugai in Japan), confirming that the series will continue its broadcast on July 4, 2026.
Produced by the powerhouse studio Bones (My Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist), this continuous, non-stop two-quarter adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s manga follows Yuru and his twin sister Asa as they navigate a dangerous war over ancient protector spirits known as Tsugai. Alongside the precise release timing, the trailer highlights a major musical shake-up for the season, announcing the dark, pop-infused track “back shot” by Masanori Otoha as the new opening theme, while alternative artist Haruka Kuwabara delivers the haunting, melodic track “Kujaku” (Peacock) to ground the upcoming ending theme.
