Studio Madhouse has released a new trailer for the second part of Liar Game, confirming the anime will continue airing this summer.
Adapted from Shinobu Kaitani’s acclaimed psychological thriller manga, the series initially made its long-awaited anime debut on April 6, 2026, mapping out a rare six-month continuous broadcast without any seasonal breaks. The story centers on the painfully naive college student Nao Kanzaki and the genius ex-con artist Shinichi Akiyama as they navigate a predatory underground tournament where deception is rewarded with millions, and trust results in life-ruining debt.
Directed by Yuzo Sato and Asami Kawano, the production has already garnered significant praise for capturing the hyper-intellectual tension of its source material. The trailer also previews the new theme songs: the opening “All in” by Kroi and the ending “Still Not Enough” by muque, both chosen to amplify the tension and atmosphere of the story.
With seven new cast members joining the ensemble and a sharpened focus on deception and strategy, Liar Game Part 2 promises to escalate the drama and deliver the climactic twists that fans of the manga have been anticipating. This mid-season reveal locks down a seamless transition into the story’s next stage, beginning July 6, 2026.
