Nike Reveals Devin Booker's Phoenix-Themed Nike Book 2 "Rising"

It’s been years since Devin Booker and Nike Basketball first revealed the Nike Book 1. Since then, countless colorways have dropped, with a commemorative “What The” pair and a “Torched” version rounding out the model’s rollout this month. Looking ahead, the Nike Book 2 is poised to be a fitting successor, building atop the success of its forerunner by “trimming the fat” and embracing new points of inspiration.
After announcing the shoe last month, the Swoosh has just offered a complete look at what to expect from the Book 2 and its debut “Rising” colorway. Inspired by a phoenix, a play on his team’s name, the Phoenix Suns, this take on the sneaker sees its black molded upper joined by gradient Swooshes that embrace red and orange. A black and orange midsole pattern is backed by an icy translucent outsole to complete the look.
At the time of writing, Nike has not yet confirmed when the Nike Book 2 will be making its debut, other than confirming it will happen in January.
