Dickies and TRIPSTER, a Tokyo-based architectural design firm, have returned for their eighth collaborative release. Since its inception in 2018, this partnership has redefined modern formalwear by blending Dickies’ rugged heritage with a sophisticated, contemporary approach to the classic suit.
A standout feature of this collection is the reintroduction of wool-blend tweed, marking the material’s first appearance in the lineup since 2019. This fabric choice offers excellent insulation and moisture-wicking properties, while its soft texture and subtle tonal shading provide a refined, sleek aesthetic.
In terms of design, the jacket maintains the boxy silhouette and narrow chest opening from the previous release, while the tweed fabric adds a dressy element to the look. The pleated pants are gently tapered from the thigh to the ankle to ensure a sharp, formal impression. This unique combination of texture and cut allows for personal style expression without compromising on professional elegance.
The collection will be available in three versatile colorways, including brown, gray and black. While pricing is yet to be announced, the Dickies x TRIPSTER suit collection is scheduled to launch on December 24 at BEAMS Harajuku Annex and the official BEAMS online store.
