Following up on the highly successful first release, UP THERE and ASICS have unveiled the second chapter of their GEL-KAYAN 12.1 “Natsukashii” collaboration, arriving in a new “Glacier Grey” colorway. This edition continues the thematic concept of “Natsukashii” – a Japanese term referring to a fond feeling when reminiscing about times past – which evokes a sense of nostalgia and familiarity that feels both old and new.
The silhouette sports a crisp white palette, departing from the “Irvine Green” of the original sold-out release, but retains the signature red accents and UP THERE green branding, connecting the two parts of the collaborative story. A layered mesh and synthetic overlay design nod to the GEL-KAYANO’s running lineage, while subtle detailing and premium construction reflect UP THERE’s design sensibility.
