ASICS has tapped FACETASM for a refreshing collaborative spin on the GEL-KAYANO 14 sneaker. Rendered in an “Organic Beauty” design theme, the silhouette incorporates 30 different color tones that mirror plants’ verdant greens, soil’s earthy browns, sunlight’s amber glow and water’s crystalline blues. The engineered mesh upper features distinct weaves across the toe, lateral and medial panels, so the shoe’s texture and hue subtly shift with every movement – melding performance-driven design with the layered nuances of the natural world.
A gradient-layered foam midsole recreates the gritty texture of earth, while contrasting forefoot and rearfoot GEL™ units are each rendered in their own color scheme, offering signature ASICS impact absorption. The glass-clear GEL™ pods appear fused within the foam, enhancing the organic motif.
