Bobby Kim, better known to many as Bobby Hundreds, marked the end of an era when he stepped down as creative director of The Hundreds and closed his beloved streetwear label’s Fairfax Avenue shop earlier this year. Now, he’s entering a new one, just a short drive down at Disneyland.

Kim has been named the vice president of creative for the Americas at Disney Consumer Products, a role that will see the former streetwear designer lead the company’s licensed and theme park creative teams for the Americas. In his new job, Kim will report to Marcus Rosie, Disney’s senior vice president of global creative, and he’ll essentially help lead the conceptualization and production of all the toys, T-shirts, apps, books, console games, and more merchandise that’s sold across Disney Store e-commerce platforms, in-person locations and Disney’s theme parks.

Kim co-founded The Hundreds alongside Ben Shenassafar in 2003 and spent more than two decades building the brand into one of streetwear’s most influential labels. Additionally, Kim is a best-selling author, screenwriter, producer and the brain behind Family Style, the festival that unites fashion with food. With more than 20 years of experience, Rosie says, “Bobby’s creativity and cultural influence transcends fashion,”

“His commitment to innovation and authenticity makes him the ideal candidate to lead our Americas creative teams, as we continue to surprise and delight consumers through our licensed, theme parks and Disney Store businesses,” he added.

Let Kim’s Disney era commence.
