Angelo Baque‘s label Awake NY and OG sportswear icon Kappa are teaming up on a ’90s-indebted capsule collection for Fall/Winter 2019.

The capsule bridges the gap between sportswear and fashion, tapping into streetwear and sports-luxe realms with its reimagined tracksuits, soccer stadiums jackets, soccer jerseys and bucket hats. The tracksuit comes in three iterations, “Black/Blue,” “Pink/Red” and “White,” with each sporting a dual-branded diagonal stripe across both the track jacket’s center and the middle of the track pants as a twist on the traditional side stripe.

Dual-logo athletic tape is applied around the bucket hat and is seen along the arms of the stadium jacket, the latter also sporting a large Kappa logo on its hood. The Awake NY x Kappa soccer jersey sports a full-front print that depicts an artistic interpretation of New York’s Times Square, with a “Game Colors” chart and the collaborators’ monikers on the rear.

Check out the lookbook in the gallery above, see all the collaborative pieces below, and shop the entire Awake NY x Kappa collection at Dover Street Market Ginza on October 11. The capsule will also release at Procell on October 17 and online globally on October 25.

In case you missed it, Angelo Baque recently teased another sporting Awake NY collaboration with Reebok.
