This $14,200 USD rig features a heat-reactive cherry blossom tree planted inside the chassis and is billed as the world’s first blooming gaming PC. The entire build sits securely inside an APNX V2 chassis wrapped in glass across a full 270 degrees.
Seventy hand-formed and hand-painted blossoms make up the system’s kinetic center. A titanium alloy specifically engineered to react to heat comprises these blossoms. The mechanical movement relies entirely on the metal responding to temperature without using motors, software firmware or RGB lighting. A demonstration shows the Cherry Bloom sitting fully closed at a resting temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. As internal temperatures rise, the metal petals physically curl open before folding shut once the machine cools.
A Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor paired with a Zotac RTX 5080 graphics card powers the rig. The system pushes output using 64 gigabytes of DDR5-6000 memory and a 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSD. This build includes a 1300W Platinum power supply to support the components. While the titanium tree provides the visible mechanical display, a custom open-loop liquid cooling system handles the internal thermal load.
