Following the recent key visual reveal, Netflix has finally dropped a new teaser trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2.
Following up on its recent character design reveals, Netflix has unleashed an explosive new teaser trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. The preview provides a frantic look at the new mercenary crew in full, chaotic motion: young, truth-obsessed cinephile Roman Carax adjusts his retro camcorder to capture localized warfare, while corpo-dropout Talia Yang shreds through enemies with her customized, Maelstrom cyberware. Meanwhile, the navy-haired netrunner D matches the velocity of high-speed monorails, contrasting against the towering presence of veteran edgerunner Weak “King” Kingsley — a burly mercenary shown dangerously close to the brink of cyberpsychosis as his massive, heavy-armor modifications rip through enemy blockades. Many of these sequences appear as recorded footage through Roman’s camcorder, adding a meta‑layer to the chaos.
Set to Rico Nasty’s “You Can’t Run From Me,” the teaser shifts between high‑velocity car chases and explosive, physics‑defying firefights. The soundtrack accelerates a relentless montage of high-speed car chases, hacked vehicle pileups and physics-defying brawls. Under studio Trigger’s signature fluid animation style, the sequence masterfully translates the grim and unforgiving reality of a Night City thoroughly crushed by extreme corporate capitalism, localized gang warfare, and systematic body-modification addiction.
