Noah’s INXS Collection Traces a 43-Year Fandom Across Four Song-Titled T-Shirts
Co-founder Brendon Babenzien turns a skate-session soundtrack from age 11 into a four-piece capsule spanning album art and chart hits.
Summary
The collection pulls four song titles, "Don't Change," "Never Tear Us Apart," "What You Need" and a dedicated Album T-shirt, into standalone graphic designs
Noah co-founder Brendon Babenzien first encountered INXS at age 11 through his brother's friends, who played the band as the soundtrack to their skate sessions
Noah‘s new collection with INXS turns the Australian band’s catalog into four wearable pieces, built around Noah co-founder founder Brendon Babenzien‘s decades-long connection to the group.
The collaboration traces back 43 years, to when an 11-year-old Babenzien first heard INXS playing in the background while skating with his older brother’s friends. It became the first band he loved without reservation, the kind of attachment that, as he’s put it, stays with someone for life. That sentiment shapes the collection directly, with each of the four cotton T-shirts built around a different piece of the band’s discography rather than a generic logo treatment.
The Album T-shirt anchors the range, printing graphics across both the front chest and back alongside a printed logo on the sleeve. “Never Tear Us Apart” and “What You Need” follow, each keeping its design to a single front-chest graphic plus the sleeve logo, a quieter format than the Album T-shirt’s two-sided treatment. The “Don’t Change” T-shirt breaks from the group as the T-shirt’s sole long-sleeve piece, carrying graphics on both the front and back like the Album T-shirt.
The INXS x Noah collection is available now through Noah’s flagship store and online.
