Following up on the initial teaser of the “Tuxedo-style” black and white pair, a second colorway has emerged to expand the Montreal design studio’s footprint on New Balance’s newest collaborative silhouette. Officially revealed through a lookbook image shared by JJJJound on their official Instagram account, this first look at the JJJJound x New Balance 1890 “Grey” arrived as part of a preview for the brand’s upcoming JJJJ SS26 Summer Weekend Capsule.
The upper is dressed in layered shades of grey mesh and suede, accented by muted synthetic overlays that emphasize depth without overpowering the design. Branding remains understated, with a tonal “N” logo on the quarters and subtle JJJJound text at the heel tab, reinforcing the collaboration’s signature restrained aesthetic. Cream laces and a sculpted midsole add contrast, while the outsole features a mix of black and grey for functional balance.
