BAPE is releasing its new Camo Slides on May 30, arriving in beige and black colorways via the BAPE website and BAPE stores. The silhouette marks the first time the brand has integrated its signature camo pattern directly into the construction of a slide, moving the motif from surface application into the molded hardware itself.

The distinction is worth underscoring. Where previous BAPE slides have carried camo as a print layered over a finished upper, the new silhouette raises the pattern across the upper through the molding process itself, giving the design physical depth rather than a flat graphic read. The result is a texture that shifts with light and angle, most apparent on the black colorway where the camo reads quietly at rest and reveals itself fully when caught by direct light. The beige version runs cleaner and more legible, the raised patterning sitting against a muted base that keeps the silhouette restrained.

A tonal ape head motif anchors the forefoot, rendered in the same color as the upper so the logo remains present without competing with the camo texture beneath it. The outsole, while not fully detailed in official imagery, appears to reference the Bapesta with a radial heel configuration and star-shaped forefoot traction — carrying the brand’s footwear DNA into the slide format. The upper itself maintains a wide entry, round toe box, and cushioned footbed, keeping the construction within the parameters of a functional warm-weather slide.
