Denim Tears has officially announced the return of its DENIM TEARS DENIM program for the Spring/Summer 2026 season.
Grounding the seasonal launch in themes of lineage and closeness, the official SS26 campaign stars legendary musician Ms. Lauryn Hill alongside her children — Zion, Selah, Joshua, John, Sara, and Micah. The family was photographed by Liam MacRae, showcasing the full range of the upcoming collection.
The SS26 delivery sees the full original program restock alongside notable new design additions. Most prominently, the brand introduces the Jacquard Cotton Wreath finish, which extends across the signature Trucker Jacket, Baggy denim, a Bucket Hat, a Denim Cap, and a Tote Bag. Another fresh introduction is a faded and distressed dirty wash, arriving in light-blue across the Trucker Jacket, Straight Leg, and Baggy fits.
Material execution remains a central focus for the label. Returning styles are constructed from texturally rich, heavyweight 14 oz denim in both Light Wash and Dirty Wash options, featuring wear patterns informed by vintage references. Additionally, the brand utilizes a lighter-weight 13 oz Japanese Selvedge for its unwashed denim, intricately woven on traditional shuttle looms. The accompanying Trucker Jackets are built from these exact same fabrications and finished with matching washes. Ensuring premium construction, every piece in the collection is cut, sewn, and washed in the USA.
The DENIM TEARS DENIM SS26 collection drops April 17 via the Denim Tears webstore, in-store at Africa Diaspora Goods in New York, and at Denim Tears Atlanta in Lenox Square.
