HBO has officially confirmed that the Emmy-winning original series The White Lotus has started filming its fourth season on the French Riviera.

Created, written, and directed by Mike White, the new season shifts its satirical lens to the South of France. Filming is currently underway across Cannes, St. Tropez, and Monaco, with additional production taking place in Paris, although the narrative remains strictly anchored to the Côte d’Azur. This season’s plot follows a fresh group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees navigating a chaotic week set against the backdrop of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. For the opulent setting, the production is utilizing the Airelles Château de la Messardière to serve as the White Lotus du Cap, while the Hôtel Martinez will double as the White Lotus Cannes.

As expected, the series has assembled another massive, star-studded ensemble cast. Season 4 will feature performances from Helena Bonham Carter, Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz.
