Nike is ramping up the excitement surrounding the Air Max franchise as it nears its annual celebration of the legendary line. After the Swoosh treated us to a preview of the Air Liquid Max earlier today, Sneaker Politics has announced that it is bringing the upcoming Air Max 95 OG ”Bandana” to Austin this week for SXSW.
Hot off of its 30th anniversary celebration in 2025, the Air Max 95 and its “Big Bubble” tooling have continued to dominate the conversation this year. For Air Max Day, a new “Bandana” iteration of the shoe sees it embrace its unique build with three distinct paisley-inspired layers. The pair shifts from red at the uppermost level to green, navy, and black. Meanwhile, gray and “Volt” accent the remainder of the upper, with black tooling hosting the electric green hue at the Air units.
For those looking to pick up the Nike Air Max 95 OG in this “Bandana” colorway, it is dropping first at Sneaker Politics’ Austin location on March 14. From there, it is set to launch globally on Air Max Day (March 26) via Nike SNKRS at a starting price of $190 USD.
