Nike is reportedly revisiting a standout release from 2006 with the return of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Dr. Doom.” Arriving during the Holiday 2026 season, this drop not only coincides with the premiere of Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, but also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the colorway that was originally part of the “Fantastic Four” pack.
As per Sneaker Files, the 2026 iteration stays true to the aesthetic of past releases while incorporating subtle structural improvements. The design features a clean Black and White color scheme, with a matte Black Foamposite shell, leather eyestays, mesh tongue, and a carbon fiber shank plate. White accents provide sharp contrast on the Swoosh, inner liner, branding, and the majority of the rubber outsole.
The key difference for this 2026 retro is the inclusion of a larger Swoosh and an overall shape that more closely reflects the original mold. This release follows the sneaker’s previous retro in 2016, which celebrated its 10th anniversary.
