HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE‘s CIOCCOLATO shoes are a sculptural take on the classic lace-up, inspired by the form and texture of a chocolate bar. Its standout feature is the distinctive toe design, which fuses an oblique toe – angled from the big toe to the little toe – with a chiseled edge silhouette, creating a sharp yet softened profile. The shoes come fitted with a concealed “fly-front” lace system, minimizing decorative elements for a clean, sculptural look. The upper is crafted from matte materials that emphasize the sculptural lines, while the outsole’s squared edge frames the shoe in a way that echoes the segmented geometry of chocolate.
