Netflix is elevating the release of its live-action ONE PIECE adaptation by bringing the first two episodes of Season 2 to the big screen. In a move to celebrate the show’s return, the streaming giant has announced special fan screenings set to take place on March 10, coinciding with the season’s global premiere on the platform. This move follows Netflix’s similar setup with Stranger Things, when it played the series finale in theaters during New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The theatrical event, titled ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line, invites fans to experience the next chapter of the saga alongside fellow community members. Screenings will be held at more than 200 theaters across the US, Canada, and Japan. In North America, showings are scheduled for 6 p.m. local time at major chains including AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Alamo, and Cineplex.
Season 2 follows Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his crew, Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero), and Sanji (Taz Skylar), as they enter the legendary Grand Line. The new episodes promise to introduce bizarre islands, new allies, and formidable villains as the search for the world’s greatest treasure intensifies.
ONE PIECE Season 2 premieres March 10 on Netflix and in select theaters. Tickets for the US and Canadian screenings will be available starting Thursday, February 26 via the official website.
