Khakis Gives Montbell's Superior Down Parka a Vintage Military Wash
The Seoul clothier brings its aged “Mist Grey” finish to another Montbell staple.
Seoul’s vintage-obsessed clothier Khakis has returned with another Montbell collaboration for the fall season. Following its Spring capsule — which introduced an exclusive “Mist Grey” colorway of Montbell’s Storm Cruiser Jacket and Rain Cap — the duo brings the same finish to the Japanese outdoor brand’s Superior Down Parka.
Despite the “Mist Grey” name, the color reads closer to a washed, aged sage green, making it a natural fit alongside the vintage military references that run throughout Khakis’ canon.
Released exclusively through Khakis’ webstore for $303 USD, the jacket retains all the technical details of the original, including 800-fill-power EX Down insulation, a Dual-Axial Hood, elastic cuffs, and an adjustable inner hem. Co-branded labeling and a matching stuff sack round out the collaboration.
