Name: Air Jordan 6 “Cap & Gown”
SKU: IR2266-010
Release Date: Spring 2026

Back in 2018, Jordan Brand leaned into the cultural shift of wearing sneakers to proms and graduations by releasing the blacked-out Air Jordan 11 “Cap & Gown.” As the Air Jordan 6‘s 35th Anniversary celebration continues in 2026, the Jumpman is revisiting that formal inspiration for Michael Jordan’s first championship-winning silhouette. Leaked images provided by @yyt_snkrs give us our first physical glimpse of the Air Jordan 6 “Cap & Gown.”

The design is built on a classy pairing of white and black, dominated by deep, dark hues across the suede upper. Where this iteration distinguishes itself from standard retro colorways is the extensive use of reflective material; flashy piping outlines the signature quarter panel cut-outs and runs down the laces to solidify an eye-catching aesthetic. The rear view might spark some debate among purists: despite this being a non-OG colorway, “Nike Air” branding sits on the heel, replacing the standard Jumpman logo typically seen on modern iterations.

The Air Jordan 6 “Cap & Gown” is expected to release in Spring 2026. Stay tuned for confirmed launch dates and pricing details.
