Update: A few holidays have passed since Action Bronson revealed an upcoming New Balance 1890 collaboration on Thanksgiving. The blue colorway remains set for a Q1 launch and will be joined by a new gray look at the artist has now teased. As with its counterpart, and in continuation of Bronson’s collaborative design language, a wide variety of colors unite for a unique composition. A gray mixed material upper is accompanied by navy “N” logos at the midfoot, several yellow hues placed throughout, a touch of forest green, and brown at the laces. Building on the success of his colorful 990v6 “Baklava” series, Bronson’s new design introduces a fresh silhouette that merges classic runner DNA with bold technical detailing.
The sneaker features contoured overlays and ventilated underlays, sitting atop a full-length ABZORB midsole with boxy cushioning pods engineered for comfort. Its palette is striking: denim blue and gray upper are punctuated by teal green “N” logos, complete with red accents to create a look that is both performance-oriented and unapologetically expressive.
