  • Mega Pokémon are highlighted throughout another stacked lineup of illustration rare cards
  • The Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Base Set has officially launched with packs now for sale

The Pokémon TCG has officially entered a new era. After over 15 sets of Scarlet and Violet, a new series is here: Mega Evolution. This beloved mechanic features special forms of Pokémon like Charizard and Lucario, and is back in a big way this year across not only the trading card game, but video games like Pokemon Legends: Z-A as well.

Kicking off the Mega Evolution series is its base set, which is packed with exciting illustration cards, including plenty of Mega Pokémon. Standouts start with the Bulbasaur line featuring three artworks that go together. We also see trainers like Lillie and Wally highlighted in different ways. Key chase cards include special illustration rare cards of Mega Gardevoir and Lucario, as well as special golden cards of the two.

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Base Set has just arrived via the Pokémon Center, select retailers, and local card shops with packs available individually and via thematic boxes and bundles. For a complete breakdown of every card included in the new sets, be sure to check out the official card gallery for the Mega Evolution Base Set.
