Following earlier confirmation that Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will return for a second season in January 2026, the anime’s official channels have now locked in its premiere date. The announcement came via the anime’s official accounts and was accompanied by a new key visual, which spotlights Frieren, Fern and Stark as they embark on the next leg of their journey.
Studio Madhouse returns at the helm of production, and the entire principal cast is set to reprise their roles, ensuring continuity in both animation quality and character performances. The highly acclaimed and anticipated anime will premiere its second chapter on January 16, 2026 at 11 p.m. JST in Japan.
