Brigade's "Me vs. The Ave" Fall/Winter 2025 Embodies True NYC Aura

Expanding its cut-and-sew sector, building on past silhouettes, and putting in on for the community in another authentic envisioning of New York City youth culture.

On the heels of the brand’s coveted contribution to the Off-White™ staff tee, Brigade is now bringing its multicultural flair to its in-line Fall/Winter 2025 collection.

The New York City streetwear imprint has been forever fueled by founders Aaron and Sarah Maldonado’s lived experiences and anecdotes in the city they call home, breathing an authentic NYC aura into each one of Brigade’s pieces; the city’s melting pot of global cultural influence mirrors Aaron’s personal come-up on these very streets with Dominican and Puerto Rican parents. Brigade’s Fall/Winter 2025 range is formally entitled “Me vs. The Ave,” which offers up another clean and consistent envisioning of New York City motifs – what Sarah Gaudio Maldonado calls “clothing for a lifetime.”

Brigade’s sharp storytelling comes through the new lookbook – styled by Antonello Gonzales and captured and directed by Maldonado himself – which tells the story of two native New Yorker siblings trying to outdress one another before a day out downtown on the proverbial New York City “avenue.”

“When we say we’re about community, we truly are. We are nothing without our supporters, and there’s no big difference between who is buying our products and ourselves,” explained Aaron Maldonado in a press statement. “With that in mind, we take all this info and continue to evolve our collections into something that we continue to be proud of, and that represents the communities we come from and those who are championing us as we grow.”

Me vs. The Ave sees Brigade expand its selection of cut-and-sew pieces as well as 3D knitwear garments, and build on past silhouettes, leveling up Spring/Summer 2025’s Jesus Piece Money Clip and Jesus Piece Money Polo.

The pair of most notable pieces, however, is a Bandera Knit Bomber and a Bandera Skull Cap, which are adorned with 12 flags, showcasing a few of the countries that represent the team and supporters of Brigade. “We always represent New York, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, but we wanted to give that same love to some of the places where our supporters reside.”

Take a closer look at all 14 items in Brigade’s first Fall/Winter 2025 drop in the lookbook above, and expect it to drop for purchase via the brand’s webstore this Friday, September 26, at 12 p.m. EST.
