An exciting new take on a classic silhouette is set to arrive with the Nike Astrograbber “Fir/Phantom.” This release brings back a pioneering sneaker from the brand’s archives, blending its rich heritage with a clean, modern aesthetic.
The Astrograbber, which debuted in 1974, was one of Nike’s earliest creations, designed as a turf shoe for American football. This new version pays tribute to its roots while upgrading the look for everyday wear. The shoe features a buttery-smooth nubuck upper in a bold “Fir” green color, complemented by a muted “Phantom” off-white on the laces and midsole. It is also contrasted by black and safety orange accents on the tongue label, giving the shoe a subtle and versatile style.
