For his first solo release of 2025, Nettspend has shared a surprise new two-pack. Billed gone too soon, the compilation features two true-to-form new tracks from the ascending rapper: “stressed” and “her friends.”
Following up on his birthday release back in March, “impact” with fellow underground titan xaviersobased, the two-song project continues to build on Nett’s distinct digitally driven sound. “stressed” gained almost instant social virality across TikTok and Twitter/X, while “her friends” comes backed by a sample of Dej Loaf‘s “Back Up.”
While the pair might mark Nett’s first solo studio release of this year, he’s clearly been busy in the studio. He’s teased new music on a handful of major global stages on his overseas tour, and also “leaked” his own tracks “forever” and “HOPSCOTCH” on SoundCloud and YouTube, respectively.
He’s also the latest artist to launch a video game on his website, having shared a game on the site seemingly dubbed early life crisis – the name of his next album – in which players can compete for access to the artist’s archival footage and unreleased audio.
