Update: Nike offered an official look at its 3D-printed Air Max 1000 in “Oat” back in June and, with the help of Zellerfeld, has prepared it to drop later this month. The experimental sneaker will see a limited number of pairs available via SNKRS Draw on August 19 at 1pm EDT. It is said to be open to all SNKRS members based in North America and will feature whole sizes only. The design is now expected to be priced at $179 USD, based on its “Black” counterpart that drops on the same day via Zellerfeld.
Update: It’s been over half a year since Nike revealed the Air Max 1000. The 3D-printed silhouette made in collaboration with Zellerfeld is finally being readied for a retail release, with the Swoosh now presenting its images of this “Oatmeal” colorway that we discussed previously below. As noted in prior in-hand looks, a Swoosh is debossed at the midfoot while an orange Air unit features Air Max 1000 branding on one side and a “FUTURE” callout placed next to a “Bowerman” nod on another. We remain without a release date, however, it’s likely to debut on shelves within the next few months via Nike SNKRS at a starting price of $210 USD.
