Tyler, The Creator – DON’T TAP THE GLASS

Starting off the week strong, Tyler, The Creator lifted the veil on his surprise new project, DON’T TAP THE GLASS. The ten-track follow-up to CHROMAKOPIA is, in Tyler’s adamant own words, “not a concept album” and, rather, the rapper seeking to shatter the social media standards and put out a project that makes people put their phones down and instead get up and dance.

Mac DeMarco – “Holy”

Mac DeMarco is continuing to roll out his next studio venture, Guitar. DeMarco just dropped the project’s second single, “Holy,” which follows up “Home.”

Quadeca – Vanisher, Horizon Scraper

After contributing executive production to Kevin Abstract‘s recent Blush project, Quadeca has revealed his latest longform studio project. Vanisher, Horizon Scraper spans 14 songs and features just two other artists, Danny Brown and Maruja.

MAVI x Niontay – “Jammers Anonymous”

For MAVI‘s third endeavor of the year, he’s tapping another top wordsmith to contribute. On the heels of collaborations with Earl Sweatshirt and Smino, MAVI has teamed with Niontay for “Jammers Anonymous.”

Drake x Central Cee – “Which One”

After an ominous “9 pm” announcement and another ICEMAN episode stream, Drake has dropped another single lifted from the anticipated new album. Initially premiered at Wireless Festival earlier this month, The Boy properly dropped off “Which One” with Central Cee.

Lelo – New Detroit

25-year-old Lelo has leveled up with his first-ever studio album. Dubbed New Detroit, the project is entirely a solo endeavor, solidifying the rapper’s spot as an underground force to be reckoned with.

Music Video: Tyler, The Creator – “Stop Playing With Me”

Shortly after the Monday morning release of DON’T TAP THE GLASS, Tyler revealed the first (and still only) official music video from the album. The “Stop Playing With Me” visual features Clipse, LeBron James, and Maverick Carter.

On a similar note, Tyler also revealed a Golf Wang capsule of apparel, accessories, and home goods in support of the new album.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again – MASA

YoungBoy Never Broke Again has unveiled his eighth studio album, MASA, short for MAKE AMERICA SLIME AGAIN. A lengthy 30 tracks, MASA is mostly YoungBoy handling it on his own, but a standout point of the hour-and-a-half-long offering is Playboi Carti feature, “Fire Your Manager.”

Tommy Genesis – Genesis

The genre-bending rapper Tommy Genesis has shared her new album, Genesis. Her first longform release since world on fire in 2022, Genesis includes singles “True Blue,” “Loops,” “Baby are you okay?” and “Girl’s Girl.”

Music Video: Maxo – “Mars Is Electric”

Lifted from his album of the same name, underground rapper Maxo has delivered on another visual – this one for the title track “Mars Is Electric.”

Dropping on August 5 is Charli XCX‘s collaboration with Converse. Charli has curated a pair of Custom Chuck Taylor All Star Charli XCX By You sneakers that land in five base colorways and will only be available for three days.

Lil Yachty – “I need meds”

Albeit a YouTube exclusive, we did get more new Lil Yachty this week. “i need meds” not only features cameos from some of the Concrete Boys gang, but also a preview of a new Boat x Nike collab.

Jorja Smith – “With You”

After ushering in summer with “The Way I Love You” back in May, Jorja Smith has dropped off another new single, “With You.”

Music Video: Ovrkast. x MAVI – “MAVKAST!”

Ovrkast. unveiled another clean new visual lifted from his most recent While The Iron Is Hot album. “MAVKAST!” marks a particular peak on the striking LP, a link-up between old friends Kast and MAVI.

Offset – “Professional”

On the heels of the well-received “Bodies” with JID, Offset has lifted the veil on his third single of 2025, “Professional,” fronted by cover art from iconic NYC eatery, Lucien.

Just about five years after its predecessor, Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist have served up Alfredo 2. Complete with an accompanying Tokyo crime saga film, the album also features JID, Larry June, and Anderson .Paak.
