Original Story: We’re over one year removed from when Junya Watanabe and New Balance shook up the footwear space with the reveal of their collaborative takes on the American sportswear brand’s new sneaker loafer, the 1906L. Since then, various in-line looks have hit shelves, selling out one after another.

In continuation of the model’s success, New Balance is back with yet another colorway, this time gearing up for fall with a “Khaki” version of the sneaker. As with many of its predecessors, the 1906L returns with a mesh base that is complemented by suede and leather overlays, as well as the 1906 line’s heel cage. A rich mix of brown and olive tones are present throughout the divisive hybrid model, with touches of black situated at the lateral “1906L” callout, subtle “NB” heel branding and the outsole.

At the time of writing, New Balance has not yet announced when this “Khaki” iteration of the 1906L sneaker loafer will be dropping.
