Louis Vuitton is expanding its presence in Los Angeles with a newly unveiled mega-flagship store set to open in Beverly Hills in 2029. WWD reports that the property, located between Rodeo Drive and Beverly Drive, will comprise a three-story, 45,000-square-foot space displaying women’s and men’s collections, beauty products and fragrances, watches and jewelry, and travel-related merchandise. In addition to the retail concept, the flagship will also house a permanent exhibition space and multiple eateries.

Designed by architect Frank Gehry, who led the construction of Fondation Louis Vuitton, the building process is set to begin in 2026. Interiors will be led by architect Peter Marino, who is famous for his flagship store designs for brands like Dior and Chanel.

“The new location will take visitors into a full Louis Vuitton lifestyle experience showcasing its diverse universes of products and one-of-a-kind client experiences,” Vuitton said to WWD. Made up of two structures connected by two pedestrian bridges, the model of the exterior, courtesy of Louis Vuitton, shows a sprawling modern facade comprised of overlapping curved volumes. On the roof, trees and green turf contrast with the monumental architecture, offering a green space for visitors to enjoy.

LVMH previously attempted to open a new Beverly Hills flagship in the 109-room Cheval Blanc luxury hotel, however, the proposal was ultimately opposed by the local community and the Beverly Hills City Council.
