Stone Island Marina x Better Gift Shop Connect on Collaborative Colorway and Pop-Up
Avi Gold dips Stone Island’s signature Aluminium Tela_ Hooded Jacket in his Toronto store’s “Better Blue” shade.
For Avi Gold, collaborating with Stone Island Marina has been a long-time dream. Founder of the Toronto-based Better Gift Shop, Gold is a true Stone Island afficianado, deeming the boutique’s first-ever collaboration with Stone Island a true “full circle moment.”
In Better Gift Shop x Stone Island Marina’s first collaborative venture, the pair has presented a new take on Stone Island’s Aluminium Tela_Stone Island Marina: hooded jacket that comes dipped in Better Gift Shop’s signature “Better Blue” hue.
The jacket – which is exclusively available in-store at Better Gift Shop – is crafted from 50Ne pure cotton poplin, laminated to an aluminium foil, and further protected by yet another layer of the same poplin. Finishing it off is a layer of special anti-drop agent.
Arco Maher, longtime friend of Better Gift Shop and Stone Island archivist, assists Gold with the endeavor, crafting a special selection of Stone Island products to display at Better Gift Shop.
